Please keep in mind our Wilmette Tribe Hockey Club goals. In the big picture, we are attempting to "teach kids through hockey" and provide long lasting, important, life skill lessons.
Additionally and importantly, travel hockey is competitive hockey. Individual players have ambition and want to make the highest playing level team possible. Players that earn that opportunity will be provided that opportunity. Thus, at each tryout, the opportunity to make the highest playing level team is afforded to all players--equally. Using all of our resources, our coaches will attempt to choose and place the most competitive team as possible.
The competition for team spots will be vigorous. We look forward to seeing the results of hard work and placing players according to their performance. Any players that are not selected for a travel team are eligible for the Tribe House and House Plus league.
Be proud of the Wilmette Tribe Hockey Club Tryout Process. Ready more about it here.
There is NO Hockey scheduled for Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon of Labor Day Weekend. First Team Practices start on Tuesday 9/4. Please review the team calendars for team specific practice schedule.
